We answer the most frequently asked questions regarding EMS training and ANTELOPE here

Beurer, a company with a long-standing tradition that specializes in health and well-being, acquired ANTELOPE at the end of November, 2019. ANTELOPE by Beurer is thus the exclusive brand of Beurer GmbH. The brand name signifies the solidarity of ANTELOPE and Beurer. All ANTELOPE.PRODUCTS are still available in the ANTELOPE.SHOP.

ANTELOPE.PRODUCTS may be used by anyone who wishes to improve their physical performance with electrical muscle stimulation (EMS). However, if any of the following characteristics apply to you, you should not train with ANTELOPE:

    • You have sore muscles, muscle cramps, or neurological disorders
    • You have a pacemaker or other electronic implants
    • You have a cardiovascular disease or cancer
    • You are undergoing a temporary illness (e.g., fever, infections, inflammations)
    • You are pregnant

Note: The electrodes should not be placed on broken skin, open wounds or fresh scars!

For EMS training with ANTELOPE, we recommend working out with it for no more than two 20-minutes sessions per week. A 10-minute massage unit can be added as an option. Be sure to give yourself enough recovery time between workouts. You should hydrate more before, during and after training.

Note: The ANTELOPE.PRODUCTS are made of breathable, antibacterial compression material. The textile must fit very tightly and if possible should be worn on bare skin to ensure muscle stimulation via the electrodes. The ANTELOPE.PRODUCTS will stretch to a degree after repeated training sessions and will adapt very well to your respective body shape.

 

With EMS training, the feeling of intensity depends on your physical condition and your performance level. To make the stimulation sensation more uniform, lightly moisten the silicone electrodes with the supplied spray before starting the training session. If one or more electrodes are not working properly or suddenly fail during training, or if the electrodes continue to not work properly, please contact our Customer Care Team. We have a repair/service team that can help you with any repairs you may need for a one-time service fee.

Close the ANTELOPE.APP and deactivate the ANTELOPE.BOOSTER. Spray the electrodes with the supplied electrode contact spray. Ensure that the booster and baseplate are properly connected.

If necessary, clean the magnetic heads of the baseplate with ethanol or water. Reconnect the ANTELOPE.APP and ANTELOPE.BOOSTER and start your EMS training. If the electrodes continue to not work properly, please contact our Customer Care Team.

Activate your smartphone’s location functions. Make sure that you do not connect the APP and BOOSTER via your smartphone’s Bluetooth settings: do it with the ANTELOPE.APP.

The seller is liable for material defects in accordance with the applicable statutory provisions, in particular §§ 434 ff. BGB (German Civil Code). The warranty period for goods delivered by the seller to entrepreneurs is 12 months.
